Robyn Riley
Passionate about dance and performing, Robyn Riley started her dancing career studying tap with renowned instructor Ethel Bruneau, where she received the Excellence of Tap award and had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dance alongside the legendary Gregory Hines at Place des Arts.
Robyn obtained additional formal training with the Young Performers of Canada, where she performed in and around the Montreal area for over 10 years; most notably at the Centaur theatre.
Robyn taught tap, hip-hop, jazz and street funk for over 10 years at various dance institutions around Montreal and spent 3 years as the Choreographer for the Prime Time Players.
Robyn has also spent 14 years as a performer with the Becket Players Cabaret; the last five of which she has spent a choreographer and costume designer.
Robyn has also performed in and been the dance animator for dozens of weddings, parties and corporate events in and around the Montreal area.
Throughout her 29 year dance career, Robyn has also received over 20 years of formal dance training in jazz, highland dance, creative dance, hip-hop and street funk. |
